SEO Specialist Responsibilities: Exceptionally strong knowledge and background in onsite and offsite seo. This will be the main focus of the position. Candidate will create, maintain and fully optimize all webpages and manage multiple local listings including Google + pages, Yahoo local listings, Bing local listings, etc. Must have a strong working knowledge of Google places, now Google + and local seo best practices.Help create quality web content including blog posts, articles, press releases and social media postsCreate and maintain our social media campaign including but not limited to Twitter account as well as multiple Facebook profiles.Conduct strategic citation and link building campaign and keep up with current industry trendsCreate and submit content to all types of directories and IYPsStrong knowledge of global onsite optimization: meta tags, page elements, robots.txt, canonical links, content, xml /site maps, 301 redirects,etc.Research and implementation of keyword (including longtail) opportunities. Evaluate competitors keywordsRequirements: This Candidate will work closely with our inhouse SEO Director and web developer to improve our internet presence across all online outlets. The optimal candidate for this role should have:Minimum of 2 years SEO experience (preferably in an agency environment) and possess a strong understanding regarding SEO best practices and elements that influence rankings in search results. Strong analytical skills are a positive especially the ability to look at metrics in a variety of ways to help find trends and actionable insights.Must possess an understanding of business metrics to measure success of SEO programs.
